It starts with a person.
Annikken's journey is at the heart of Roots of Alpicella — a vineyard in the Maritime Alps of Liguria, Italy, growing wine, olives and vegetables without chemicals, using old methods, on terraces shaped by generations. Rather than introducing only a product, the project invites people to discover the person, place and purpose behind it.
She was starting something the world hadn't seen yet — terraces brought back to life, old methods revived, a story that until now had only existed in the soil itself. We wanted to help her tell it in her own voice, not ours.
The brand film — shot on location, built around the vineyard's own rhythm rather than a script written in advance.
We spent real time on the terraces before we ever picked up a camera.
The story came first: old methods, no chemicals, a place shaped by the people who've worked it for generations. The film and the website grew from that same soil — one story, told twice, so it feels the same whether you're watching it or walking through it.
A website built to feel like the place itself.
Beyond the film, the story needed somewhere to keep living after the credits roll. We built the site to carry the same restraint and pace as the film — the terraces, the quiet, the unhurried way Annikken works.
